Modern Dentistry
To enhance your experience and provide the highest level of care possible, we are proud to feature the latest dental technology. Both Drs. Camp and Heubner have invested countless hours in continuing education to bring these revolutionary technologies to each and every patient. Our goal is to improve your comfort, as well as the accuracy and efficiency in which we deliver your care.
Cerec click for more
A revolutionary method of creating ceramic fillings and crowns right in our office during 1 appointment.
Everything is completed in 1 visit, so you avoid having to wear temporary crowns, which can come off or break, and you avoid getting numb for the 2nd visit.
These fillings and crowns are metal-free, very strong and natural-looking.
Digital X-Rays click for more
The most advanced method for detecting cavities and other dental diseases.
The accuracy and clarity of the X-ray image is much better, which vastly improves our ability to diagnose dental disease.
The amount of potentially harmful radiation is reduced by over 65%.
Recent advancements in dentistry have led to a new, metal-free ceramic material that has proven to be as strong as metal but much more natural-looking.
We can also do bridges with this material due to its strength.
The greatest advantage is that this newer material is 3.5 to 4 times stronger than the old ceramic, which leads to very few broken fillings and crowns.
Intraoral Camera click for more
An intraoral camera is used to show our patients their mouths and teeth up close on a computer screen.
The obvious advantage is improved patient education, where you can finally see what we are looking at in your mouth.
We can also save and print these images for future reference.
Cavity Detection Devices click for more
These devices use either a harmless laser light or fluorescent light to help detect decay more effectively.
Since x-rays and visual inspection of certain parts of the teeth are not always sufficient, these devices help us find early decay that might otherwise be missed.
The advantage is having the ability to fill a cavity while it is still small and before the tooth becomes sensitive.
Digital Office Management click for more
Computers play an important role in our dental office. They help us improve efficiency, accuracy and organization. We use them to:
safely store your dental and medical health histories, diagnostic tests and findings, treatment notes and recommendations
track your appointments, treatment details and insurance records
capture, store and transmit your dental x-ray images
communicate with patients, referring specialists, colleagues, suppliers and educators
